Resident students are granted access only to the residence hall and amenities of the hall to which they are assigned. The access and use of building amenities at 10 West Street, the Modern Theater Residence Hall, 150 Tremont Street, and Miller Hall are a privilege that carry with it the obligation to act in a proper and responsible fashion. Upon move-in, residential students will receive a sticker for their IDs which will identify where they are assigned to live. Residents’ university IDs also grant them entrance to the front door of the residence hall where they are assigned to live. Residential students are considered guests of residence halls where they are not assigned and must follow all guest policies and procedures, with the following exceptions:
For 10 West Street and The Modern Theater Residence Hall residents only:
Note that because the 10 West Street and Modern Theater Residence Halls are joined, residents of the Modern Theater Residence Hall have access to common space and amenities at 10 West Street. 10 West Street residents have access to common spaces and amenities at the Modern Theater Residence Hall.
All residents living at the 10 West Street and Modern Theater Residence Halls are permitted to use the dining hall and computer lab at 150 Tremont Street during the hours that the dining hall is open. The ID sticker for 10 West Street/The Modeern Theater Reidence Hall residents grants these residents access to 150 Tremont Street.
10 West Street and Modern Theater Residence Hall residents may bring up to two guests with them to the dining hall at 150 Tremont Street. 10 West and Modern Theater Residence Hall residents must sign guest(s) into 150 Tremont Street at the security desk per the normal guest sign in policy. Both the resident and his/her guest(s) may only go to the 150 cafeteria.
For Leased Properties: Resident students at the Holiday Inn are permitted to use the cafeteria and computer lab at Miller Hall during the hours the Miller cafeteria is open. The ID sticker for Holiday Inn residents grants these residents access to Miller Hall.
If an individual abuses this system and/or has any policy violations in any residence hall, this privilege may be revoked for the remainder of the semester in addition to other appropriate sanctions.
