Philosopher's Index, produced by the Philosopher's Information Center, is a current and comprehensive bibliographic database covering scholarly research in all major fields of philosophy. The Philosopher’s Index, considered the most thorough index of journal literature on the subject, features author-written abstracts covering scholarly research published in journals and books, including contributions to anthologies and book reviews. The Philosopher's Index contains research published since 1940 including nearly 570 journals from 43 countries with content representing a variety of languages.

Political Science Complete (PSC) provides full text for more than 520 publications, and cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts for more than 2900 journals, (including top-ranked scholarly journals), many of which are unique to the product, such as British Politics, Ethnopolitics and the Journal of Women, Politics & Policy. PSC is comprehensive and has a worldwide focus, reflecting the globalization of contemporary political discourse. The database also features more than 165 full-text reference books and monographs, and over 27,000 full text conference papers, including those of the International Political Science Association.

The library has one license for simultaneous use.
Polling the Nations is a compilation of more than 14,000 surveys conducted by more than 700 polling organizations in the United States and more than 80 other countries from 1986 to the present. Each of the nearly 350,000 records reports a question asked and the responses given. Also included in each record is the polling organization responsible for the work, the date the information was released, the sample size, and universe, i.e., the groups or areas included in the interview, such as parents with children in public schools, Great Britain, the United States, or California. All the surveys reported were conducted using scientifically selected random samples.

PsychiatryOnline is a powerful web-based portal that features DSM-IV-TR — the most widely used psychiatric reference in the world — and The American Journal of Psychiatry as the cornerstones of a collection of psychiatric references from American Psychiatric Publishing, Inc. It provides access to classic resources such as DSM Library titles including DSM-IV-TR, DSM-IV-TR Handbook of Differential Diagnosis, and DSM-IV-TR Casebook and its Treatment Companion. This database contains tests relating to the study and practice of psychology. While the primary focus is on current tests, the contents of the database span as far back as 1910. The majority of the tests are in English, but the quantity of non-English language and international materials is increasing. Each record includes a description of the test, its development, and how it should be administered. Where available, the database also provides information regarding a test's reliability and validity. Although directed at psychology, the tests can be considered relevant to a variety of fields, including: business, social work, education, law, and management.

APA contains streaming video of over three hundred therapy sessions recorded over the past decade, as a part of the
Psychotherapy Video Series. All of the therapy sessions are unscripted and conducted by ninety-five experts in their respective fields. The videos record therapy sessions from over sixty-five approaches -- both new and classical, covering over two hundred topics.

The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research is one of the world's leading archives of social science data, specializing in data from surveys of public opinion. The data held by the Roper Center range from the 1930s, when survey research was in its infancy, to the present. Most of the data are from the United States, but over 50 nations are represented. A crucial component of the Center's resources is the iPOLL database (please provide your Suffolk email account to access this polling material) which provides access to over 500,000 questions and responses. Another component is RoperExpress, which is a data access tool for on-demand download of data. Faculty and students at Suffolk now have unlimited access to those datasets in the Roper Center collection that are in ASCII or SPSS portable formats.
