In order to inspire academic excellence, the Center provides the following services for the faculty members upon request.

One to One Consultations

The CTE provides faculty support and ideas for more effective classroom instruction. All meetings are confidential.

Small Group Instructional Diagnosis (SGID)

Also known as Mid-Term Course Feedback, this service provides faculty members with suggestions for immediate mid-course adjustments. Requests should be made by the second week of a given semester and will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. All assessment results are confidential.

Classroom Videotaping

Research shows that reviewing videotapes with a colleague effectively promotes teaching improvement. At instructors’ requests, the CTE tapes classes. Faculty members then watch the footage with the CTE or a department colleague and gain valuable feedback. All videotapes are confidential.
