Springboard 4: The Examiner

Springboard 4, the 2012 student exhibit at the Adams Gallery, is a solo show by Keri Lemoine, who graduated in May.

The Examiner runs July 12 through August 12, 2012. A reception will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug 11.

Lemoine has created her own world in The Examiner, an installation and short work of fiction describing the imaginary city of Gossamer, where a variety of creatures are assigned tasks and evocative names. One resident, a human called Peter Pan, has begun his apprenticeship under an Examiner, and the master’s laboratory is reconstructed in the gallery.
