Recognized by the City of Boston for our efforts to make our existing facilities more energy efficient, our use of sustainable building practices for new construction and major renovations, sustainable dining and transportation initiatives, and our public events that raise awareness about environmental issues.

This project, which fit into the New Construction category, features the historic restoration of the facade, energy efficient systems, room occupancy sensors, recycled content steel, water conserving features, and more.

Gold LEED for 10 West Residence Hall - 2008
Through the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building rating system, Suffolk surpassed its goal of achieving Silver for new building projects, and reached the Gold level.
