Battling Bias in the Classroom: A Roundtable Discussion
Monday, April 4th, 12-2pm
CTE, 73 Tremont Street, 12th Floor

Bias Incidents are not uncommon in classroom settings. Freedom of speech is not only important as an ingrained right in our society but it makes for lively debates and discussions. But what happens when that freedom we hold so dear crosses the line into a bias incident? How does one maintain academic freedom while still addressing incidents of bias as they occur? Join Jacinda Félix Haro, Director of the Office of Diversity Services for a luncheon discussion on ways in which you can create a safe academic environment for all students.
