Office of Research and Sponsored Programs

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) provides Suffolk University’s faculty, staff and students with comprehensive guidance and support in their pursuit and conduct of research and scholarly activities.

ORSP works collaboratively with the research community to assist them in advancing Suffolk’s mission of teaching, research and scholarship and provides them with the highest quality customer service and technical expertise.

ORSP provides assistance in four primary areas

 Pre-award services, including:

• Identify resources and funding sources for research and sponsored projects
• Review and approve all research and sponsored project proposals before submitting to external entities
• Negotiate research and sponsored project agreements with external sponsors and sub-recipient organizations

Post-award services, including:

• Accept and manage awards for research and sponsored projects
• Submit invoices to sponsors for reimbursement
• Maintain compliance with sponsor requirements
