Join us for Suffolk University’s annual Earth Day Celebration. This year’s program will focus on environmental responsibility, specifically the collective impact of decisions made by consumers, corporations, and in our communities. The event will also include a poster session featuring the environmental work by Suffolk University students.
• State Representative Matthew Beaton, (R-Shrewsbury), and founder of Beaton Construction L.L.C., which incorporates the latest innovations in green building products, green building techniques and building science theory into sustainable construction, remodeling, and renovation projects.
• Terri Goldberg, Executive Director of the Northeast Waste Management Officials' Association (NEWMOA), a nonprofit, nonpartisan interstate association which helps states facilitates the development of regional approaches to solving critical environmental problems.
• Patricia Hogan, Associate Professor, Physics Department, Suffolk University, will speak on current thinking about influencing consumers toward more sustainable choices.
