When you’re off-campus, you can access your email, calendar, and contacts on the web with Outlook Web App (OWA, or Suffolk Umail).

Outlook Web App is web-based. You can access it at https://umail.suffolk.edu/ or from the University Web Site through your login page.

You will be asked to log in using the same username and password you use on campus.

When you log on to your own computer, you can select the private computer security option and take advantage of all the features offered with the Outlook Web App.

To protect your information, be sure to indicate whenever you use a public or shared computer:

  • if you use a computer at a library, Internet cafe, or other public place
  • if other users, including contractors or part-time employees, periodically log in to your computer

This choice will log you in to Outlook Web App Light. OWA and OWA Light give you access to most of the same features, but the public or shared option, Outlook Web App Light, will log off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity as a security measure.
