Math 1
To introduce, refresh, and reinforce Basic Mathematics skills to students in preparation for college. The course is a review of essential and critical efficiency required to move on to the Mathematics 2 class.  The session will begin with a description of numbers, math nomenclature, and Pre-Algebra.  there is no set of dates for specific topics, as coverage will depend on the progress of the class.

Math 2
This course is designed to prepare students in the Veterans Upward Bound Program for higher level collegiate math courses. Material to be covered will include Algebra 1 and 2 concepts.  As such, it is expected that all students recognize the importance and necessity of incorporating time for coursework throughout the week, in addition to class attendance and participation.
