The IDEA Center for Insight, Improvement, and Impact in Teaching

This web page lists the  Classic IDEA papers on best practices the IDEA research notes on student evaluations;  the POD-IDEA notes on Instructional Improvement; and the POD-IDEA notes on learning.  These papers are written by experts in the field of teaching and learning and provide valuable ideas, tips, and suggestions as well as extensive bibliographies for additional reading.

This page is part of the Theory Into Practice (TIP) database.  It is a tool intended to make learning and instructional theory more accessible to educators. The database contains brief summaries of 50 major theories of learning and instruction. These theories can also be accessed by learning domains and concepts.

MERLOT

MERLOT (Multi Media Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching) is a free and open resource designed primarily for faculty and students of higher education. Links to online learning materials are collected here along with annotations such as peer reviews and assignments.
