McNair Scholars conduct research with faculty mentors during the summer. The McNair Program award a stipend up to $2,800 for research internships.

The program also provides:

1. Seminars on research and writing skills
2. Assistance with identifying educational goals and creating plans to achieve them
3. Resources to finance your Graduate Studies
4. Assistance with the application process for Graduate School
5. Preparation for the Graduate Record Examination
6. An opportunity to attend a national conference
