Courses:  Advanced 3-D Color, Materials & Finishes, Codes & Construction and Color for Interiors

Jeanne Kopacz wrote the book on color theory. Published in 2003, "Color in Three-Dimensional Design” demonstrates how well-chosen hues can bring interior spaces to life. At The School of Art & Design since 1994, she teaches her students how to bring their own ideas to life using the latest technology. “Instead of mixing paints from a can, my students mix colors onscreen. They also present case studies, image boards, sample elevations, and color schemes to the class on Photoshop or Illustrator,” she says. She looks forward to the School of Art & Design’s annual thesis presentations. “It is rewarding to see my students present very thorough, major pieces of design work,” she says. “They prove we are producing very fine caliber students who are ready to succeed in the workplace.”
