Karen Clarke, Associate Professor of Interior Architecture & Design was chosen to be a panelist at the Micro-Housing: Rethinking Urban Living event held at the University’s C. Walsh Theater on March 26. The panel was assembled to discuss Boston’s development of micro housing units targeted towards young emerging professionals. The event spotlighted work of graduate students in the New England School of Art & Design’s MFA in Interior Architecture Program, who designed a selection of interior themes for marketing the units. The students also assisted the firm ADD, Inc. in constructing a 300-square foot micro unit on the theater’s stage. The Micro Housing event was presented by Suffolk University’s Center for Real Estate in conjunction with the Greater Boston Real Estate Board.
