Mitsu, BFA Fine Arts
Mitsu's Story
Creating art wasn’t what Mitsu thought he’d be doing when he first came to Suffolk. He entered intending to study International Relations when he realized that becoming an artist was what he wanted to do. After being accepted into the Fine Arts BFA program, Mitsu immersed himself in his studio work and started to prepare for his career. While in school, Mitsu built up his gallery experience, serving as a studio assistant for several local artists, volunteering on installations and working as the assistant to the Gallery Director for the School of Art & Design. The resumé Mitsu assembled while at Suffolk led him to an internship at MassMOCA (The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art), where he assisted in the preparation and planning of upcoming exhibitions for the museum.Hear More
