Study Art & Design in Boston this Summer
Things are happening at Suffolk University this summer! Whether you're in high school preparing for college, thinking about a career change, or if you're interested in taking a class or two, Continuing Education at the School of Art & Design has something for you. Our summer programs are an affordable way to explore your options, prepare for admission and rapidly start on the path to a new career. The New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University is located in the heart of Boston's art and design district. We are steps from the galleries on Newbury Street, the SOWA arts district and a short T ride away from the Museum of Fine Arts, the Institute of Contemporary Art and the Boston Design Center. As a School of Art & Design student your Suffolk University ID grants you complimentary admission to the Museum of Fine Arts and the Institute of Contemporary Art.
Pre-College High School Program
Our 5-week Pre-College Summer Program offers high school students who will be sophomores, juniors, seniors or entering college freshman an opportunity to study art and design at the college-level.
Gateway Program for Graduate Design Studies
The Gateway Program is an intensive summer program designed to help you prepare the portfolio you'll need for admission to the Master of Arts in Interior Architecture (formerly titled Interior Design) or Master of Arts in Graphic Design programs.
Accelerated Graduate Summer Program
The Accelerated Graduate Summer Program is a 10-week program for admitted Master of Arts in Graphic Design students who need a boost to the competency of their design skills.
Summer Courses
Our 10-week summer semester runs June - August. Non-matriculated students may enroll in summer courses through the Continuing Education Division.
