All politics are local but many problems are global. How do neighborhood-based groups form effective partnerships with larger organizations to bring global issues home and amplify grassroots voices?
Join BostonCAN and representatives from other neighborhood-based and national sustainability organizations as we discuss stories of successful collaboration between community-based organizations and national groups that highlight best practices. Speakers will include Cindy Luppi from Clean Water Action discussing stopping coal power in eastern Mass and Mela Bush from Greater Four Corners Action Coalition on improving mass transit in Dorchester.
