About the Scholarship

The Angela Lombardo Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student who exemplifies the image of a Radiation Therapist in competence, proficiency, congeniality, empathy towards the patients, and the ability to work in a team environment. This student is nominated by the team leaders of the affiliated training sites, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Exeter Cancer Care. The scholarship is applied to the student's final year's tuition.

Our goal is to have a scholarship endowed in Angela’s name to honor her legacy: the contributions she made to the radiation therapy profession, especially in the educational domain; and to the work of her students who are now practicing radiation therapists.
