The 2011 Civic Discourse Series "Immigrants in America" continues with a panel discussion entitled "Immigrants in Boston." Moderated by Tufts University's James Jennings, guest panelists include Alix Cantave, William Trotter Institute for the Study of Black Culture; Marcela Garcia, El Paneta; Patricia Montes, Centro Presente; and both Eliane Ng and Giles Li of Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center. These representatives will explore the challenges faced by new residents of the Commonwealth as they struggle for social, political, and economic opportunity.
