$0Drop-in Math Help Sessions$0 $0Math Help offers individual and small group tutoring, on a drop in basis, for course content in all freshmen level mathematics courses. This is a good place to ask questions about daily homework and lectures - before questions become problems. Students may drop in as often as needed. The center, located in Fenton 636, is open more than 30 hours each week, divided between day and evening hours. The center is open and manned from the first week of classes through final exams. Students may visit the center whenever it is open, whether they are having severe difficulty, need just a little bit of help, or just want a friendly place in which to do their math homework.$0 $0One-on-One Help by Appointment$0 $0The Math/CS Support Center offers a limited amount of one-on-one tutorial help in freshmen level math courses. Students interested in this service must first register with a member of the Math/CS Support Center staff and are then paired with a student tutor based on their course and schedule requirements (based on the availability of the tutors). These pairs meet one hour a week, at the same time every week (from the time the pair is assigned until the last week of classes) in Fenton 636. One-on-one tutors offer help in course content, go over problems similar to homework problems, help students review for exams and offer general tips for studying math.
