Minor in Philosophy

Twenty semester hours (five courses) in Philosophy are required of students who elect a minor in Philosophy (or an acceptable equivalent number of hours for "transitional" students who began their studies before Fall 2007). These must include:

1. Phil 119 (Ethics) or Phil 123 (Social Ethics) or Phil 127 (Contemporary Moral Issues)
2. Phil 210 (History of Ancient and Medieval Philosophy) or Phil 211 (History of Modern Philosophy)
3. Three additional Philosophy courses.
