The Heritage Medallion pays tribute to those who have made outstanding contributions to the Suffolk University community.  Fifty-five significant members of the University family have been awarded Heritage Medallions since their introduction in 1981.  Both length of service and quality of contribution are considered when choosing honorees.  The 2009 Heritage Medallion Recipients are Lorraine DiPietro Cove, Nancy Clemens Croll*, and Beatrice L.
