The Seventh Biennial Symbiosis Conference

An international gathering of scholars working at the intersection of literary, historical, and cultural studies of the Atlantic world from the early modern period to the present.  Presentations will explore diverse topics such as travel writing, the legacies of slavery and abolitionism, print culture and periodicals, adventure novels, captivity narratives, oceanic journeys, and transatlantic science fiction.
