The College of Arts and Sciences offers honors and high honors recognition to qualified full- and part-time students through the Dean’s List. A number of academic departments also offer honors recognition.

Criteria for Dean’s List

Full-Time Student Dean’s High Honor List

• Grade point average 3.70 or above
• No grade of D, F, or I
• Minimum of 12 semester hour credits

Full-Time Student Dean’s Honor List

• Grade point average between 3.30 and 3.699 inclusive
• No grade of D, F, or I
• Minimum of 12 semester hour credits

Part-Time Student Dean’s High Honor List

• Grade point average 3.70 or above
• No grade of D, F, or I
• Minimum of 12 semester hour credits for the year

Part-Time Student Dean’s Honor List

• Grade point average between 3.30 and 3.699 inclusive
• No grade of D, F, or I
• Minimum of 12 semester hour credits for the year

Criteria for Department Honors

Individual departments within the College may offer honors recognition to outstanding students who meet their respective requirements. Departments currently offering honors are:
