We offer our students a wide range of options, including majors and minors in history and robust honors programs in both History and History and Literature. The History Department has particular strengths in the areas of American, European, African-American, and Asian History, as well as in the history of women and gender and public history. Students have the ability to engage in focused study in one of these domains by taking several upper-level courses in a particular area of study.
