Arrival

Graduates should plan to arrive no later than 12:30pm to the 3rd floor of the Westin Copley Hotel in the St. George’s Room. Suffolk University staff and or hotel staff will direct you.

Once in the student robing room please check in to receive your line-up card. Keep noise to a minimum in the robing area to facilitate last minute instructions. Make sure you are wearing your cap, gown, tassel and that you have your graduate hood draped over your left arm.

Please Note: You must make sure that all your personal belongings are not left in the student robing area. Please make arrangements to leave your personal belongings with a family member. We are not responsible for items left in the robing area.

Student Line-Up

Pick up your name card from the registration table. This card is numbered so that you will be in alphabetical/numerical order within your degree group. Please line up in that sequence and drape your master or doctoral hood over your left arm. The line will be divided into two immediately before the processional so graduates may walk two-by-two and be seated on both sides of the center aisle. Do not make ANY changes or additions on this card. You must present it to Dean Bursik when you approach the stage to be recognized.

Staff members will direct the student procession into the Ballroom followed by the Faculty and the stage Party.
