Faculty arrival

Please plan to arrive at the Westin Copley Place Hotel, 3rd floor no later than 12:00pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00pm. You will be robing and lining up in the Staffordshire Room. Suffolk University volunteers and hotel staff will be available to direct you.

Faculty will be able to leave personal belonging in the robing area. Suffolk University Police will be on hand to secure the room while you are attending the commencement ceremony.

You should all have received your regalia by now. If you have questions about your regalia please contact Melissa Gately at mgately@suffolk.edu. Please remember to bring it with you. If you plan to attend the Undergraduate Commencement on Sunday, May 20th you will need to keep your regalia. If you are only attending Saturday’s ceremony you can leave it in the Staffordshire room at the end of the day.

Processional

Each Department should designate a representative to hood their students as they cross the stage. Department Representatives will line up and be seated at the front of the faculty. All faculty will process up the center aisle and be seated on stage.

Reception

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony. Be sure to join us for this chance to congratulate our graduates and their families.
