Second Year C.A.S. English Requirement

• All C.A.S. undergraduates must take:
  • English 213 (English Literature I) or
  • English 214 (English Literature II) or
  • English 217 (American Literature I) or
  • English 218 (American Literature II) or 
  • English 216 (World Literature in English) 
    
• These courses combine an introduction to a significant body of literature in English with continued instruction in reading and writing skills.
  
• Students with a demonstrated reading deficiency may also be required to take English 090 and/or other developmental courses.
