Steps to Getting Connected
Get Your Suffolk University IDYour Suffolk University ID is a unique seven (7) digit number used by the university in place of your social security number. If you haven't received it yet, contact the
Registrar's Office to request your Suffolk ID number.You may obtain your Suffolk University ID card from the University Police office located in the lobby of the Sawyer Building, 8 Ashburton Place.
Sign in to your Suffolk EmailEvery student at Suffolk University is provided with a Suffolk email account. The university email system is used for university business. Students receive their email account as soon as they are accepted to Suffolk. Contact the
Help Desk if you are having trouble with your email account. You can connect to your Suffolk email via the web at
http://www.sumail.suffolk.edu or by using an email client, such as Thunderbird, Outlook, or Mac OSX to access your email.
Sign in to Campus Cruiser & Access BlackboardCampus Cruiser is the current university portal. It provides access to campus and personal announcements, grading, and essential information about your courses and programs. In addition, it provides access to
Blackboard, our course management system and convenient links to other university resources. You will be able to automatically sign in to Blackboard once you access Campus Cruiser. Courses that you are taking will be automatically available to you every semester.Your portal account consists of a username and password. If you have not received it, please contact the help desk at 617.557.2000.
