The Cultural Diversity Requirement aims to broaden and deepen students' understanding, experience, and critical thinking skills with regard to cultural differences and cross-cultural interactions, for effective participation in a world of diverse cultures and viewpoints.
The Cultural Diversity Requirement, as specified by each degree, is fulfilled by taking courses bearing the Cultural Diversity Designation. Courses that satisfy the Cultural Diversity Requirement are listed in the catalog as well as on this website. Cultural Diversity Courses may simultaneously fulfill Divisional Requirements, Major Requirements, Complimentary Major Requirements, Minor Requirements, or may be used as electives. ONLY the courses listed as such in the catalog or on this website meet the Cultural Diversity Requirement.
