I was born and raised in Long Island, New York.  I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola College in Maryland in May 2005.  Upon moving to Boston and entering Suffolk University the next fall, I began to further explore my interest in neurodegenerative diseases.  My early research training project was designed to explore the relationship between vision, specifically contrast sensitivity, and motor dysfunction in individuals with Parkinson’s disease, based on a dopamine deficit hypothesis.

Generally, my clinical and research interests are in the area of geriatric neuropsychology.  My budding interests lie in the area of cognitive dysfunction, and the relations between vision and cognitive test performance in the geriatric population.  I also have an interest in caregiver burden associated with dementia.

Beyond psychology, I enjoy spending any chance I get back home in Massapequa with my family and friends.  I love traveling, going to the beach, and walking my Puggle, Bailey, all around Boston.
