Admissions
To be considered for admission into the Economics Ph.D. program, applicants must meet the following requirements and complete the application process:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Graduate Record Examination (GRE) taken within the past five years with:

a combined score of 1100 (300 in the new scale) or above in Quantitative and Verbal sections

a score of 3.5 or above in Analytical Writing section

GMAT scores are not accepted
-
Three letters of recommendation, including at least one from academia
-
Undergraduate courses completed in microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, and at least one course in calculus

Financial Aid
The Ph.D. program offers various levels of financial support. Outstanding candidates for full-time study may receive full financial awards, including full tuition waiver up to three years and teaching or research assistantship. Partial financial awards are offered to qualified full-time students. Additional opportunities exist for grants and scholarships.
