The Administration of Higher Education program combines theory with practice to prepare administrators and educators for a range of higher education environments. Our students gain the skills needed to excel in their current roles, or seek employment, in: academic advising offices, admissions, alumni, development, college unions, athletics, career planning and placement centers, offices of residence life, orientation, student activities centers, financial aid, offices of the registrar, and a host of other professional positions at colleges and universities and other higher education-related agencies and organizations.
The curriculum also provides an excellent foundation for students who want to continue their studies and enroll in a doctoral program in higher education administration, college student personnel administration, or counselor education.
