"Your ideas can change your life"
Founded in 2006 by Executive in Residence Sushil Bhatia, the Competition for Innovative Ideas has given Suffolk students and alumni a pathway from idea to opportunity. Mentored by our Center’s Fellows in Entrepreneurship, innovators compete for $100,000 in grants and in-kind services.
The Urvashi Bhatia Green Product Award and Bottom of the Pyramid Award are open to the general public. All other awards are only open to Suffolk University undergraduate and graduate students and alumni.
All entries must be submitted online by: December 31, 2013.
A team of business professionals will decide on finalists in the following categories:
The finalists then create development plans to compete for a Seed Capital Award of up to $100,000 (in cash and professional services).
*The Frugal Innovation Award recognizes inexpensive and useful products designed to help 4+ billion people who earn roughly two dollars a day.
**The Urvashi Bhatia Green Award, named after Sushil Bhatia's wife, is given to ideas that meet environmental needs.
