If you're thinking of making the move to Suffolk, you'll be in good company. In fact, more than 24 percent of each entering class comes to Suffolk from another college or university. Which means we're able to give you the special attention and personal service you need to make your move to a dynamic urban campus.
Here are some helpful statistics to consider as you're making your decision. In a typical Suffolk transfer class:
- 69% receive financial aid
- 42% transfer from two-year colleges
- 58% transfer from four-year colleges
- 3.0 is the average GPA for transfers offered admission; we recommend at least a 2.5 to be considered
The application deadline for transfer admission and financial aid for the fall semester is June 30. (March 15 if interested in housing.)
The application deadline for transfer admission and financial aid for the spring semester is November 1. (Please note, October 15 is the deadline for admission with on-campus housing.)

*If you plan to use the Common application on line please know that we do not require you to complete and submit the Registrars report from your current school. We will of course need copies of transcripts from all of your prior academic schools. In some cases it may be easier for students to submit a paper application in place of the on line version. The submission of a paper application is also acceptable.
