Schedule a Personal Interview
An admissions interview provides an excellent opportunity to visit campus and meet with a representative from the Undergraduate Admissions Office. The interview helps the admissions staff make a more informed admission decision. It also helps you gain a better understanding of the university.
Interviews are informational and allow you to talk about your academic record, accomplishments, and ambitions. We can also help you address any questions or concerns you have about the university. Sometimes, when we meet with students we find qualities that cannot be reflected in an admission application. A willingness to work hard, balance a selection of activities, have a sense of independence are all factors that help our students succeed and graduate. Sometimes we see these qualities in a transcript, other times they are best learned through a conversation. The interview is exactly that, a conversation.
Interviews are offered most weekdays and selected weekends. On-campus interviews for secondary school seniors, post graduate students and transfer students are offered year round. (Transfer students must call ahead to schedule an interview with one of our transfer counselors.)
All interviews last between 20-30 minutes and are held in the Office of Undergraduate Admission at 73 Tremont Street, Boston MA. Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.
