Graduate Programs of Study
What programs are offered?
Graduate Programs are available for both the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Sawyer Business School. View a full list of programs offered by both schools. Or view information on our joint degrees with the Suffolk Law School.
How long is my program? What are its prerequisites?
The length of time in a program will be dependent upon whether you study full time or part time, the number of courses needed to complete each program, and the waivers for which each individual student may be eligible. Find your program, and follow the link to a more in depth discussion of your program. For specific questions not included on the website, please contact the program director.
What courses can I get waived? How many courses can I have reviewed for waivers?
Waivers will differ by program and by student. Contact your program director for guidance on what courses you can expect to have waived due to previous coursework or experience.
How can I get in touch with alumni to learn about their experiences?
The Suffolk Alumni Admission Network (AAN) consists of Suffolk University alumni who have agreed to answer the questions of prospective students. For international students interested in speaking with other International students, the Alumni Office's International Ambassadors are a great resource.
Can I take any classes before admission?
In the MBA program, some applicants may be able to enroll in the MAPS program. College of Arts and Sciences candidates and MPA and MHA students can enroll in the CAPS program. Full information regarding MAPS and CAPS options.
