Notification of Admission
Suffolk University renders admission decisions on a rolling basis for most programs. The stated deadlines are meant to assist applicants in submitting their credentials in a timely manner.
Once an application is complete, it will be reviewed by the Admission Committee and a decision will be made soon after.* A student will be considered only for the semester for which the application is made. The Office of Graduate Admission will notify the student of the decision by mail.
An accepted applicant who would like to defer his or her acceptance to a later semester must submit a written request to our office. We will defer acceptance one time only for up to one year. There is an additional non-refundable $200 deposit required to defer admission; this will be subtracted from the tuition bill when the student enrolls.
*The Psychology Department Admission Committee will competitively consider applicants to the Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology program. Applicants to this program should not expect a decision until the end of March.
