Applications & Forms

Applicants to degree programs are encouraged to apply online. Applying online expedites processing of your application and will allow you to receive a decision in a more timely fashion.

Please be aware that we experience heavy volume around deadline dates. We encourage students to complete their applications as early as possible, even for online applications.

All applicants are strongly encouraged to send all of their materials in a single envelope. Students are recommended to use the outer envelope mailing label in order to ensure that materials arrive in the correct office, thereby speeding the processing of the application.

The Office of Graduate Admission recommends that applicants keep copies of all materials submitted and requests third parties (such as those writing recommendation letters) to maintain copies as well in the event of items being lost in the mail or other unforeseen circumstances. Recommenders should be reminded to include the applicant's full legal name in their correspondence, in order to assure that letters get matched to the appropriate candidate.

Applicants for the PhD in Clinical Psychology program must send all supporting materials in a single envelope, and envelopes must be clearly marked "Graduate Admission/Psychology." This will improve our ability to forward application packets to the department for consideration faster, and ensure the completeness of the application package. All supporting materials must be received by December 10 in order to be considered for the following fall.
