• Graduate Programs in Finance Host Networking Event

Sawyer Business School’s Graduate Programs in Finance hosted its annual Fall Networking Event last month at the Omni Parker House in Boston.

Each year, the event brings faculty, students, alumni, and guests together for an evening of mingling, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres. The event celebrated a year of growth, as the programs transitioned to the semester system.

Academic Director of Finance Programs Professor Ki Han commented on the intense pride he felt for the students and graduates. He then introduced guest speaker and MSF ’08 alum, Bernardo Aumond.

Bernardo joined the Suffolk MSF Program in 2007. Halfway through the program, he was hired by investment management firm Loomis Sayles. He was the first analyst in its Quant Research Team, and by 2009, he was promoted to vice president in the Risk Analytics group. Bernardo shared his experiences at Suffolk and discussed how the program contributed to his career growth.
