What makes your community "smart"?

Great Neighborhoods: How people, places, and policy can transform where we live
Thursday October 25, 2012
Faculty Dining Room, 4th floor, Suffolk University Law School
3:30pm-4:30pm

There are at least 101 cities and towns in the Greater Boston area, each determining its own development policy and regulations, and often competing for tax revenues. Great Neighborhoods is a new initiative by the Massachusetts Smart Growth Alliance to help local groups accelerate the transformation of their communities, and bring them together to change regional development patterns and state policy.

Suffolk students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to come hear from the Executive Director of the Alliance and take part in interactive activities.

Locally grown/sourced appetizers and drinks will be served. Please bring a travel mug to help us reduce waste.

Hosted by Suffolk Sustainability, The Institute for Public Service, and The Environmental Studies Program
