Sustainability and Clean-Tech Innovation in South China

Waltraut Ritter is the managing director of Knowledge Dialogues and research director at the Asia Pacific Intellectual Capital Centre. The Pearl River Delta (PRD) has a long history of being a place of trade and knowledge exchange. This lecture will examine the innovation initiative of organizations in the clean-tech industry in PRD. The research is based on regional value networks and open innovation. It is an ongoing action research with different universities, research institutes, government agencies, industry organizations, entrepreneurs, and established companies in Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen in the field of clean technologies.

The event is hosted by the Knowledge Globalization Institute and co-sponsored by the Sawyer Business School and the Rosenberg Institute for East Asian Studies at Suffolk University.
