• "No Impact Man" Screening

2012 Earth Day Series features a film screening and discussion

5-7  p.m. Tuesday, April 10
Suffolk University, 41 Temple St., Donahue Building, Room 311

In the documentary No Impact Man, Colin Beavan attempts to eliminate his personal impact on the environment for one year. In the film, he becomes a vegetarian, turns off his electricity, and buys nothing other than local food to eat. Come watch Colin and his family attempt the impossible and join in a follow-up discussion about their project. Does the Beavan’s year-long project help the environmental movement or further stereotype it? Will No Impact Man influence your choices? This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
