"Human Rights and Sex Trafficking"

S.O.U.L.S. presents monthly Food For Thought discussion

Noon - 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012
Donahue Room 403
41 Temple St., Boston

S.O.U.L.S. presents a monthly Food For Thought discussion featuring the Boston Initiative to Advance Human Rights (BITAHR). The discussion will focus on human rights and sex trafficking.

Every year, human traffickers generate billions of dollars in profit by victimizing and enslaving millions of people around the world. Sex trafficking is a form of human trafficking and modern-day slavery where an exploiter induces a victim to engage in commercial sex by using force, fraud, or coercion.

(BITAHR) is a small non-profit organization dedicated to programs that focus on helping women and children attain their human rights, with a special focus on the right to be free from forced prostitution and commercial sexual exploitation.
