WGBH Coverage of "Marketing Your Military Service" Seminar

"Greater Boston" interviewed veterans who are having difficulty transitioning to civilian jobs at the daylong “Marketing Your Military Service”seminar co-sponsored by the University.

Veterans attending the seminar said that war experiences are not easily translated into civilian work experiences.

Suffolk alumnus Nicholas Dutter, a former Army sargeant and now an outreach coordinator for the Home Base Program, took part in an in-studio discussion on the Nov. 3, "Greater Boston" segment on "Veterans and jobs."

Home Base is a partnership between the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital dedicated to improving the lives of veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder and/or traumatic brain injury and their families.
