• Board of Trustees Adds New Members

10/4/2011

The Suffolk University Board of Trustees approved 12 new members at its Oct. 4 meeting.

The board’s Nominating Committee conducted a search that included an extensive interview process before recommending candidates who have demonstrated exceptional business and management leadership, according to Board Chair Andrew C. Meyer, Jr.

The recommendations were made at the August board meeting and reviewed by the full board in September. A formal vote took place Oct. 4.

“Our dedicated board members look forward to augmenting their expertise by bringing in these new members,” he said. “Together we will solidify our efforts to maintain the highest standards of academic excellence while remaining mindful of the challenging financial climate and its impact on our students.”

The new trustees include five University alumni.
