The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars recognized Suffolk University as the 2011 Private University of the Year during a ceremony in Washington D.C. on Monday, Oct. 3.

The award acknowledges consistent and exceptional support provided to students who attend Washington Center internship and academic seminar programs.

College of Arts and Sciences Dean Kenneth Greenberg accepted the award at the Washington Center’s annual Academic Affairs Awards Luncheon at the National Press Club.

“The Washington Center fits Suffolk University’s vision of connecting our students with the rest of the world,” said Greenberg. “The Washington Center is our home in Washington D.C.”
