• Professor elected VP of NE Political Science Association

5/9/2011

John Berg, a Suffolk University government professor, was recently elected Vice President of the New England Political Science Association (NEPSA). He is the first Suffolk faculty member to be elected to NEPSA's executive office. In the past, Berg was also the first Suffolk President of the larger Northeastern Political Science Association.

Berg’s VP appointment begins a three-year escalating term; he will be President Elect in a year, and President the year after that.

In the executive office, Berg will be involved with NEPSA’s annual conference and also the online publication New England Journal of Political Science.

Berg said, “NEPSA is a terrific organization that combines conviviality and good friendship with support for the highest level of scholarship. I am very proud to be the first Suffolk faculty member elected to executive office in this wonderful association.”
