Jim Shepard reads from his new collection, You Think That's Bad

Jim Shepard, author of six novels and four short story collections, will be on campus for a free public reading from his new collection, You Think That’s Bad. Shepard’s previous collection of short stories, Like You’d Understand, Anyway, was winner of the Story Prize and a finalist for the National Book Award. His fiction has appeared in Harper’s, McSweeney’s, The Paris Review, and The Atlantic Monthly, among other magazines.

Four of Shepard’s stories were chosen for the Best American Short Stories anthologies, one for the O. Henry Prize 2011 anthology, and one for a Pushcart Prize.
