Leading the Business of Global Non-Profits
Sponsored by the Institute for Executive Education
Thursday, December 8, 2011, 11:45am to 2:00pm
Suffolk Law School Function Room
120 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02108

What are the rewards and challenges that local nonprofit leaders face operating in a global environment? How is this different from their prior work that may have been in other industries or more locally focused? In this panel we explore global nonprofits as they fit within the Institute's mission of facilitating the exchange of knowledge and leading the way in executive education and lifelong learning.

Panelists will address the challenges and benefits of being part of a global organization in this economy, including overall mission, cost effectiveness, and the ability to react and respond to opportunities.

Panel of industry leaders, light lunch, and extensive Q&A with the audience. Networking before noon and after 2:00pm.

Our moderator is:

Celeste Bennett Wilson, EMBA '98, former executive director of the Arts & Business Council

Our panelists are:

Robert Minetti, director of Development for Massachusetts General Hospital

Sylvia Ferrell Jones, president, YWCA

Kathy Taylor, VP, ElderHostel/Road Scholar

Ed Wilson, CEO, Earthwatch International

We are proud to announce the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network and Third Sector New England as our cohosts.
